WHY GOOD REPUTABLE BREEDERS DO WHAT THEY DO.

This post is to help understand why rabbitries do what rabbitries do and that is breeding. It's a topic that pet and animal lovers alike do not fully understand. Why breed when there's millions That goes for dog cat rabbits reptiles and so on and so forth.
I can only speak for rabbitries here as I do not understand the others however love ALL. But I'm sure it stands as well.
We breed with a goal and we breed with standards. Whatever that goal is show breeders AND pet breedersWe love the breed we are pairing and working at perfecting those faults those furs those structures ears. Etc I can go on each breed is different. We are perfecting our lines. We show them to learn where we are at.We show them for fun, breed them for a purpose.Breeding is not just putting 2 rabbits together and calling it a day it's alot more then that. Breeding and pairing bunnies together is a work of art in a way,  all rabbitries have their own unique look color whatever it may be specific breeders are working at for goals in the breeds.they all do not look the same and they are all not crossbred poor rabbits. Breeders work yeaaars to get where they are. I've only started in 2020 and not in the best way but learnt from it grew from it and I'm only thus far in my lines. I've cried over my loses, celebrated my wins with pairings, and my enjoyment and love of my buns. let's not get started on the fact that this is not a profitable hobby. It's expensive to keep them happy healthy fed keeping them healthy  and improving there overall care and keeping everyday. Staying up long hours reading about the breed colors genetics etc there's ALOT, its a never ending rabbit hole once you start you cannot stop lol. It's not as easy as it looks you cant just start and think you know what your doing or copy someone else's homework, as ones goals will never be the same as someone else's.You work to be unique it's like painting a picture and having someone else erase your name and replace it with theirs. You work to make the line your own. ❤️Alot of work is put in to breeding to reach goals caring for cleaning after them everything put in to it. It's not just cute bunnies and happy days. It's not just placing 2 bunnies together It's not just breeding for a profit. The hobby is not profitable in anyway.
Besides all that you have to LOVE what you do, CARE for the animals and RESPECT the animal you choose to breed keep or just choose to keep as a pet.
Love & respect the animals and follow your goals.

**We Love our bunnies here at our rabbitry and we care for them like they are our family We don't tolerate over breeding And we breed carefully and selectively Our girls are not bred back to back but given a break between litters for the benefit for our buns. The care put in to our bunnies aswell our bunnies come first over a litter**
